Stories about Grand Children

*Angels or Monsters?*

I think you all know what I am talking about. There are days when you keep wondering if your darling angels just turned into little monsters.

Have you noticed that these days always comes after a child have been sick for a few days? With my 7 children I soon learned that so now with my grandkids I am prepared. Oh well, most of the time.

When they are sick they are mostly very easy to handle however the first day after fever broke they behave like crasey. Too much energy it seems and they can go on like that for hours.

The past week one of our grandsons had to stay with us instead of going to daycare since he had a bad cold. That was ok the first 2 days but on the 3rd day he drove us nuts. It was bump, bump all day. He jumped on everything, the floor, my sofa, our bed and all chairs. At the same time he was making as much weird noices he could possible think of I guess.

I tried to make him calm down over and over but all he answered was that he was not jumping, he was only moving like Tigger! I suppose you know what Tigger does best? Yes, he jumps! Bump, bump! It got worse in the afternoon when his little sister came and he started to jump with her too. Like * follow me*. Sheīs only 18 months old so that was a problem having her climbing everything trying to follow her brother.

Our old dog didnīt like this either since he couldnīt get his nap no matter how he tried. There was always someone jumping a little too close to him, forcing him to get up and seek another resting place. When it was time for me to be cooking in the kitchen I had to get help from a daughter and Grandpa to look after them. Finally, after trying every trick I knew, I managed to convince my jumping grandson that even Tigger had to sit down to have his dinner. That did it! I suppose his body felt tired since he fell asleep after dinner and when he woke up after a short nap he was back to normal, just as if all this never had happen.

*Carolina, Rasmus and Auntie Sara*

Well, that evening there was one really tired grandma too. They are our angels but sometimes itīs very nice to be able to give them back to their parents.
